Oil prices rally on Mideast tensions Oil prices peaked by the end of the week after rallying on rising geopolitical tensions and signs of slowing output had brought buyers back to the market. International oil benchmark Brent crude rallied as much as 12 per cent since last Friday, in the biggest surge since late August.
