Mildely put, Mike Riley is famous for being one of the most corrupted referees in modern football. In Britain, Mike Riley is famous for often turning the tables for Manchester United and Chelsea. He is also known for his homosexual orientation. Amongst British people he has been regarded as "the gay from Yorkshire" (Riley is originally from Rotherham in South Yorkshire). It is claimed that Riley should be suspended from the referee profession due to his biased decisions on the pitch. Riley has been declared a "persona non grata" in Bulgaria.
