Так, по данным исследования, в Китае проживает 189 человек, о которых достоверно известно, что их состояние - более миллиарда долларов, тогда как в реальности их может насчитываться от 400 до 500, и ставит Китай на первое место в мире по количеству долларовых миллиардеров .  "Китай, возможно, обладает самым большим количеством миллиардеров в мире мы уже знаем о 189 долларовых миллиардеров, но можно с уверенностью утверждать что мы пропустили крайней мере такое же количество, что означает от 400 до 500 миллиардеров", - заявил автор исследования Руперт Хугверф. Также авторы исследования считают, что богатые китайцы не склонны публиковать данные о своих активах, поэтому информация, собранная о них из открытых источников, как правило, будет заниженной. Самым богатым китайцем, по версии Hurun, является владелец корпорации Wahaha (производитель напитков) Цзун Цинхоу с состоянием около $ 12 млрд. | United Kingdom Pavilion Theme: Building on the Past, Shaping Our Future Highlights: Seed Cathedral, Wrapping Paper National Pavilion Day: September 8 Pavilion Area: Around 6, 000 Square Meters Натиснете тук Натиснете тук Натиснете тук   The first World Expo came about in the United Kingdom and was then known as the Great Exhibition, held in the Crystal Palace at Hyde Park. This majestic metal-and-glass edifice was not only home to the extravaganza display of products from all over the world, but was also the iconic symbol of the world fair, being considered one of the most beautiful structures in the world until a fire destroyed it half a century ago. Now, the United Kingdom has brought to Expo visitors a new version of the Crystal Palace – a dazzling cube formed by more than 60, 000 slim and transparent acrylic rods containing seeds of different plants that were collected in a bio-diversity project. Themed "Building on the Past, Shaping our future", the 6000-square-meter UK pavilion is also known as the "Seed Cathedral" and the area around it is designed like a wrapping paper, making it seem as if the wrappers have fallen open to reveal a sparkling jewel of life. Visitors can relax around the open space or enter the "Seed Cathedral" to admire the seeds in the spines, marveling how such tiny seeds can produce wonders of nature and life. The UK pavilion hopes to raise awareness for the Millennium Seed Bank Project, an international conservation project launched by the Royal Botanic Gardens in 2000. Highlight 1: Green Cities Visitors will travel through four UK's capital cities from west to east - Belfast, Cardiff, London and Edinburgh. Large "green maps" of the cities are on display. The best way to show how green British cities really are is to "erase" all the buildings and streets, leaving only the green spaces. Highlight 2: Seed Cathedral Visitors will be invited to watch, touch and recognize seeds of different plants as the core exhibition of the UK Pavilion. They will be surrounded by the seeds in a 20-meter-high hollow cube-like structure with the seeds embedded in the walls and ceilings. The "Seed Cathedral" is itself an object formed from 60, 000-plus transparent acrylic rods containing seeds. The seeds demonstrate the concept of sustainability, the diversity of nature and the potential of life. During the daytime, each of these 7.5-meter-long rods will act like fibre optic filaments, drawing on daylight to illuminate the interior. At night, light sources embedded in each rod will allow the whole structure to glow. Highlight 3: Living City In the "Living City, " visitors will find a showcase for a rich variety of plants, a mix of living plants and imaginary future plants. They are encouraged to look closely to see which are real and which are modeled. These specific stories allow them to appreciate how science has used nature in areas as diverse as medicine and construction, and how plants of the future could offer solutions to climate change and other global concerns. Highlight 4: Olympic Corner UK Pavilion offers a preview of the 2012 London Olympics by incorporating an "Olympic Corner" in its display. The area features a large "green map" of the 2.5-square-kilometer Olympic Park in Stratford in East London, which will be turned into the largest city park in Britain. Highlight 5: City Park The "paper" area is as large as a standard football pitch and will be a public area for performances and for children to play football, just like a city park. The square will have performances every day including ballet, drama, orchestra and dance. Some UK football stars may be on hand to teach soccer skills to children. Much of the daily programming will concentrate on original and inventive comedy performance which draw on the UK's great tradition of theatre - stretching back to William Shakespeare - and on the current international reputation of our artists and performers for original, inventive and crowd-pleasing work. The case pavilion reduces energy demand by installing energy-efficient facilities and achieves zero carbon emission by using renewable energy. Visitors will be exposed to zero-carbon auditorium, restaurant, showroom and six different styles of zerocarbon show houses as well as a series of activities of saving energy and cutting emissions.   |

Highlight 2: Gold & Silk In Gold & Silk, visitors can discover many interesting facts about ancient trade relations between Armenia and China, enjoy the unique mastery of Armenian jewelers.  === Azerbaijan Pavilion Theme: At the Crossroads between East and West National Pavilion Day: October 15 The Eurasian-style pavilion, colored blue, golden and white, houses exhibitions on the history, culture, and religion of cities and towns in Azerbaijan as well as the lifestyle of its urban dwellers, highlighting the important role of the country in integrating Eastern and Western cultures and in promoting the trade and communication between Eastern and Western countries. Highlight 1: Natural Scenery Alcove In the Natural Scenery alcove, visitors feel like standing in a balcony overlooking the magnificent Mount Kazbek where Prometheus is said to be chained in the Greek mythology. Highlight 2: Ornaments, Necklaces, Crowns and Statues Head ornaments, necklaces, crowns and bronze and iron statues made by goldsmiths in the ancient Colchis are displayed in the museum. The abstract geometric patterns are reminiscent of mountain ranges and the projections with changing colors help create a visual feast. Highlight 1: "Mountain" The "Mountain" section of the exhibition simulates the famous Mount Lovcen of Montenegro. The slope of the floor will steepen into a cliff as visitors move forward. | Lithuania Pavilion Theme: Blossoming Cities National Pavilion Day: July 15 Натиснете тук The design of the pavilion came from flowers in bud, symbolizing a vigorous, prosperous and booming country and its cities. The exhibition centers on the success stories of urban development, architectural and cultural heritage, natural protection, people's achievements, sports and scientific development, among others. It aims to showcase how Lithuanians get along well together and take an eco-friendly approach towards nature in the process of developing the country into an important international political, cultural and economic center in the Baltic Sea region. Highlight 1: Experience of "Soaring" above Lithuania The interior of the bud is a grand hall and a stage that can be moved, while the petals are formed by shells. The 360-degree screen and stunning acoustic effects will make visitors feel like they are "flying" above Lithuania. Highlight 2: Handicraft DIY Visitors can try to make handicrafts such as pottery toys, crowns, willow weaving and wooden carvings. Handicraft workers will perform their skills at the scene.  |

These wooden rods not only reflect light, but also rise and fall with changing music rhythms to bring visitors both audio and visual impacts. Highlight 1: Gomboc A new invention named Gomboc, created by two Hungarian mathematicians, will be displayed in the pavilion. It is the first known homogenous object with one stable and one unstable equilibrium point, similar to the shape of the Chinese roly-poly. The Gomboc is a symbol of the unremitting and creative spirit of the Hungary nation. Highlight 2: Wood rods Wood rods are musical instruments themselves and can make sweet sounds when tapped. | Estonia Pavilion Theme: Save City National Pavilion Day: October 18 Натиснете тук Estonia’s pavilion invites you to make your voice be heard on urbanization-related topics: Visitors are given the chance to propose solutions for various problems facing the world’s cities, We will introduce ways that everyone can use to make their environment better – ways that are already standard operating procedures in Estonia. Highlight 1: Colourful piggy banks In the pavilion there are large, friendly-looking piggy banks to collect good ideas from visitors on making the world’s cities better places to live. Ideas can be forwarded by sending a sms or filling in a voting flyer. At the end of the EXP0 2010 the statistics will be collected and handed over to a local school in Shanghai to analyse the ideas. Highlight 2:Every evening at 6 pm – Sing along choir karaoke Choral singing is one of the most recognizable hallmarks of Estonia’s national culture. Singing along choir karaoke is a daily event held in the Estonian pavilion, and the purpose is to offer a unique cultural experience through choral song. Visitors will have a chance to sing along with Estonian choirs so that the choirs sing up on the big screen in the pavilion and the visitors sing along in the pavilion. The songs are in Estonian, Chinese and English. The singing will be recorded and can later be downloaded. The recordings of the singing will be uploaded to http://www.savecity.org as mp3s each week and the singers can download them the following week.  |
| Qatar Pavilion Theme: My City: Present Ambitions and Future Expectations National Pavilion Day: October 20 Натиснете тук The concrete walls of the Qatar Pavilion feature art patterns reminiscent of the Barzan Tower, a landmark building in the country. The tower in Doha once served as an observatory of the lunar phases as well as a signal tower for approaching ships and pearl divers. It represents the glorious memory of Qataris.The pavilion has prepared some fun activities and exhibits for visitors, including interesting tests, Bedouin tents, crafts and interactive videos, which will display how Qatar has taken advantage of green technologies to envisage a sustainable city in the future. Highlight 1: Fun Exhibitions The gallery inside the pavilion will be hold a range of exhibitions, including collections from the Museum of Islamic Art, Fabergé eggs, stamps issued in Qatar as well as children's works. Sculptures and paintings with rich ethnic characteristics are exhibited with high technological tools. These items not only show a strong tie between the country and its water, but also explore and present the sustainability of its urban development. Highlight 1: Aboriginal lives in Angola Aboriginal huts of Angola are presented to show original lifestyles and sceneries and visitors can have real experiences of African aboriginal lives there. Highlight 2: A rotating totem A rotating totem, as tall as human beings and completely composed of leaves, can be seen through some tiny falls in the pavilion. Models of Angola’s national flower Welwitschia is on display at the Angola Pavilion, whose exterior design has been inspired by this long-living flower. Discovered by Austrian botanist Friedrich Welwitsch in the Namib Desert in southern Angola in 1859, Welwitschia resembles huge expanding mushrooms and is known for its endurance in adverse climate. | Pakistan Pavilion Theme: Harmony in Diversity Highlights: Lahore Fort National Pavilion Day: August 14 Pavilion Area: Around 2, 000 Square Meters Натиснете тук Натиснете тук Themed "harmony in diversity, " various aspects of the best of Pakistan's cities will be merged into one showcase of culture, tradition, modernity and history. In the pavilion, visitors will be able to experience the life of a typical Pakistani citizen through detailed visual and multimedia presentations. The design inspiration of the pavilion comes from the Lahore Fort listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. At Expo 2010, Pakistan will create a replica of the Lahore Fort built of new materials with new technology. The fort which dates back to the year 1025AD is the cultural capital and heart of modern-day Pakistan. It was given its current design in 1566AD. The building is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Visitors will have a glimpse of the former royal garden at Expo 2010. Highlight 1: Display of Pakistan's Customs, Culture and History through Multimedia Presentations In the pavilion, the long-lasting friendship between Pakistan and China will be showcased - the commercial relations, starting from the Silk Road, are the strong bonds between people of two nations. Highlight 2: Friendship between Pakistan and China Distinctive Pakistani dances will be performed by the national dancers. Pakistani cuisine, with a strong ethnic flavor, is also an important component. Visitors can enjoy the distinctive clothing and exotic dances while tasting the local food, such as barbecue with secret sauce, local mellow milk tea "Chai, " among others. Highlight 3: Pakistani Dances and Cuisine The Pakistan Pavilion will focus on the interpretation of the city's distillation of Pakistan and will display the customs of the ancient nation intertwined with tradition and modernity, culture and history. The country's cultural and natural diversity is presented in many aspects, displaying the balanced development of cities and villages as well as the harmonious co-existence of people with different backgrounds, which interprets the theme "Whole Country – One City." Highlight 1: Handicraft Making Visitors will see artists making handicraft at the wooden handiwork bench in the central area, and they can also try making works of their own. Highlight 2: Image of Cities In the LCD and Interaction Area, city models and multimedia movies are used to depict the image of cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.   |
 Chile Pavilion Theme: City of Relations Highlights: Undulating "Crystal Cup" National Pavilion Day: September 18 Pavilion Area: 3, 000 Square Meters Натиснете тук From an aerial view, the design of the Chile Pavilion resembles an undulating "crystal cup" with irregular wave-like fluctuations. It also conjures an abstract image of ships at sea. The main structure is constructed of steel and glass. A rectangular brown wood pole will penetrate the "crystal cup" with its side end serving as the entrance to the pavilion. Held in the "crystal cup" will not be wine nor spring water, but the dream of the Chileans about future cities. Composed of 5 exhibition halls, the Chile Pavilion will focus its exhibitions on Chilean understanding of the city, including how to build a better city and how to improve the standard of living. Highlight 1: Home of Chile During the Expo, the Chile Pavilion will also serve as Chile's home in China that will exhibit characteristics from around the country, including its Polynesian culture and Easter Island. Visitors to the pavilion will have the chance to buy unique souvenirs made of bronze. Highlight 2: Well of Time & Space "Digging an imaginary well from China and through the earth's core, one can reach Chile." Though the two countries are more than ten thousand miles away, they are closely linked in this way. Actually constructors will dig several real wells in the pavilion by Expo time in which visitors may see images of Chilean people's daily lives. Highlight 3: Themed Weeks During the Expo, the Chile Pavilion will also hold various events and themed weeks, including Mining Week, Fruit Week, University Week and Wine Week. Also, Chile will celebrate the 200th anniversary of its independence and the 40th anniversary of the commencement of diplomatic relations with China in 2010. Independence Day celebrations will be held on September 18, the National Pavilion Day. Highlight 4: Green Pavilion The most outstanding feature in the design and construction of the Chile Pavilion is the use of new glass. The U-form glass allows light in but is not transparent, so that outsiders cannot see the interior. The glass has good heat and sound seclusion and is tougher than normal flat glass, which is fitting for both construction and decoration. What is more, there are energy-saving features in the glass which are made from up to 65 to 70 percent of used or broken glass. A huge roof garden with nets of steel wires will be established on top of the pavilion, screening visitors and contributing to energy conservation.  |
| Palestine Pavilion Theme: Olive City, Peace City National Pavilion Day: October 16  The pavilion presents a fantastic City of Olive with a facade featuring Palestine flag and a solemn Arabic gate. In the center erects a huge olive with visual impact. Olive is important for Palestine as olive oil is the country's major product. Olive branch signifies peace and friendship, and olive green symbolizes harmony, environmental protection and sustainable development. Highlight 1: Products and Culture of On both sides and the front side inside the pavillion are two multimedia screens and a dozen of embedded lanterns displaying abundant products and distinctive culture of Palestine. Highlight 2: Olive Oil Genuine olive oil from Palestine is sold in the showcase area. |
 Syria Pavilion Theme: Damascus: the Oldest Capital Still Inhabited National Pavilion Day: October 17 Натиснете тук Distinctive architecture and culture of Syria is well interpreted by traditional elements - folk residences in Damascus dwelled by three generations. Three components of the exhibition, Cultural Stories of the Wheat/Silk Road, Arabic Library, and From Ancient Hamoukar to Modern Damascus, are respectively arranged in three halls linked with each other. Highlight 1: Well In the courtyard there is a well in the center, valuable antiques around, and aromatic bonsais in the corners. Highlight 2: History of Damascus Architectures and stories bring visitors to the 4500-year history of Damascus, the capital of Syria and a city of the heaven.   |
